Site Specific Music is a Schulze Pollmann piano recital series based in Macclesfield, Cheshire. The concert series is just about to begin it's first year on Cheshire's social calendar.

The concerts will take place at different sites around Macclesfield, but also in other towns around Cheshire and the music played will relate to a piece of Art or an Art exhibition that is taking place within that specific space.

The first Piano recital series hosted by Site Specific Music will be called From the Workshop This opening series of 3 concerts will bring piano recitals performed by Artists from around the world. The recital series is based in Macclesfield, Cheshire and starts in April, joining forces with Macclesfield's Barnaby Festival in June and rounding up a great year with an autumn recital in September.

From the Workshop is a chance to experience a line up of world class piano recitals in the most appopriate space; Shackleford Pianos, a piano restoration workshop and showrooms.

From the workshop, the first of the concert series hosted by site specific music will be timed with Art exhibitions put on by Marburae Art Gallery - beginning the relationship between music and Art that will become the cornerstone of Site Specifc Music as it develops.

Site Specific musics first year line up includes, Tristan Lee and Australian Pianist, Matthew Kam from Malaysia and rounding off with Emmanuel Vass born in the Phillipines but now residing in Yorkshire.
